超音鼠真人版電影的預告片已在日前公布，但超音鼠的角色設計就引來不滿。導演 Jeff Fowler 今日就透過 Twitter 發文，表示明白大家批評，將會重新設計角色。

真人版超音鼠有多種設計為人垢病，除了過細的眼睛之外，過長的腳和長滿人類牙齒亦是觀眾不滿的原因，連超音鼠的設計師大島直人亦間接表達關注。
今まで色々なソニックが現れたが全てを好きでいたい。私はソニック映画のトレーラーを観た。大人も楽しめるものを期待していたが心配です。

預告片公布後，不少人亦在網上重新設計超音鼠修改「崩壞」的部分。可幸的是，Jeff Fowler 已收到大家不滿的意見，將重新設計角色，務求讓最佳的超音鼠呈視於大家眼前。然而，Fowler 並未有透露重新設計角色會否導致電影上映延期。
