信不信由你，美國媒體分析指Apple的iTV裝置將要到2014年才能現身，而且與很多Apple產品不一樣，iTV產品將會是首階段美國限定，陸續才會在其他國家開賣。
早前Apple CEO Tim Cook與一眾荷里活的娛樂公司高層會面，之後就傳出他正為iTV產品進行游說工作。但分析員就認為，要為iTV裝置提供節目內容並非易事，最快都要到2014年前才能成事；而Apple在美國市場，因iTunes的緣故，已經與娛樂公司建立良好的伙伴關係，所以美國將會是產品首發的國家。
然而JP摩根的分析師對Apple iTV裝置卻睇淡，認為Apple跟娛樂公司的商談將會十分艱辛和漫長。
