根據外國消息指出，Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 後繼機的代號為 Urushi（ST18i），預計今年9月正式推出，估計官方快將舉行發佈會，Xperia 8（ST18i）規格與Arc 及 Neo 差不多，ST18i 將採用1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 處理器，Adreno 205 GPU，與Arc 及 Neo 分別在於 3.2 吋 854×480 螢幕，在這個細小螢幕下，Sony Ericsson 仍加入了Mobile BRAVIA Engine 以提升畫質，主鏡頭為800萬像素，支援720p高清拍攝，運行Android 2.3.3 作業系統。
