有沒有試過在黑暗環境中拍照，使用閃燈會有爆光及閃燈烘，不開又不夠光？一項最新的拍攝技術可能會於不久的將來為大家解決此問題。《NewScientist》報道，紐約大學的 Dilip Keishnan 及 Rob Fergus 發現了一款不可視閃燈的拍照技術，以紅外線閃燈配以紫外光技術，來取代現有的閃燈運作模式。
此技術的運作原理相當簡單，方法是以一張使用了紅外線閃燈的跟一張沒有閃燈的相片作後期整合，以得出一張完美的夜間照片。
有其他科學家指出，同樣概念的拍攝技術，早於數年前已經開始使用，因為太多技術問題而遲遲不能普及，現時用於多種不同用途，例如快速整作一項物件的立體電腦模型。
