Google 為高速化配對藍牙產品，在 Android 平台上推出了全新功能「Fast Pair」，能夠加快藍牙裝置與 Android 智能電話或平板的配對速度。
用戶只要將支援 Fast Pair 的藍牙裝置啟動，並靠近 Android 智能電話或平板，後者便會利用 BLE（Bluetooth Low Energy）來掃瞄附近的裝置，如檢測到 Fast Pair 的訊號便會在畫面上顯示「Tap to pair」通知，輕觸一下便能成功配對。
藍牙裝置需要支援 Fast Pair 功能才能使用以上配對方式，現時支援的裝置有「Google Pixel Buds」，還有 Libratone 的「Q Adapt On-Ear」等，Plantronics 的「Voyager 8200」亦會加入這項功能。而 Android 裝置方面，只要安裝 Android 6.0 Marshmallow 以上、Google Play Service 11.7 以上便可使用。
Google 呼籲其他藍牙產品製造商也為他們的新產品加入 Fast Pair 支援。
