早前(6月5日)Capcom被發現在美國註冊了「Monster Hunter: World」為商標，大家都十分期待MH將會有新系列作推出。結果不令大家失望，在E3遊戲展終於有新Game發佈，而登陸的平台是PlayStation 4！Capcom宣佈本作的推出日期為2018年上半年。
這是Monster Hunter系列繼2011年在PSP上推出過Monster Hunter Portable 3rd之後，終於再次有主流的MH遊戲登陸PlayStation平台。
上個月Capcom已經宣佈在任天堂Switch推出《Monster Hunter XX》，但今天在E3遊戲展Sony發佈會公開的《Monster Hunter: World》GamePlay影片中，好明顯與之前的《XX》有所分別，並非同一款遊戲的移植版。至於今天Capcom在E3公佈的最新預告片，下面就有最新片睇！
《Monster Hunter: World》會於2018年初先推出 PlayStation 4 and Xbox One版，PC版將會稍後再推出。
