美國設計師 Mike Abramson 在波士頓落 Club 飲酒，只是飲了數啖就發現酒內被落藥，幸好他找朋友幫手送他回家，避免不幸事情發生。這趟遭遇讓 Abramson 想到重新設計酒杯和飲管 DrinkSavvy，偵測飲品有沒有被落藥。
雖然不清楚 Abramson 所說的是否他的真人真事，但每年在美國就有 40 萬名女性，飲品內曾經被落藥。Abramson 的新發明將會針對 K 仔、迷姦水等精神科藥物和安眠藥、鎮靜劑等，當 DrinkSavvy 酒杯或飲管測試到有上述物質就會變色。
Abramson 的開發團隊在 IndieGoGo 網站集資了超過 5 萬美元後，首批 DrinkSavvy 原型測試用酒杯和飲管將會在下月登場，他們期望在明年可以正式將產品推出市面。
