日前 Apple 在 WWDC 大會才發表了 iOS in the Car 的新功能，一向積極將 iPhone 新功能整合到其汽車多媒體系統的 BMW 今次竟然做了逃兵，更明言不會在短期內支援 iOS in the Car。
日前 BMW 的發言人表示，寶馬的車內多媒體系統十分先進，將 Apple 的 iOS in the Car 加入到系統內，並非如 Apple 所講般輕易。所以，BMW 將會在可見將來繼續使用 iDrive 和 ConnectedDrive 介面，BMW 發言人相信 iOS in the Car 不可能一下子就廣泛推出，因為汽車生產商通常在一款汽車真正投產前數年，已經敲定儀錶板介面的設計。
不過，BMW 依然會在 2014 年為所有新車提供 Apple 的 Siri Eyes Free 支援。未知 Apple 在 WWDC 當日發表的 12 家車廠會否如期在 2014 年推出整合 iOS in the Car 的系統呢？

醒D啦！Update: In a statement to AutoBlog, BMW clarified its position on iOS in the Car integration. The German automaker said it is in close contact with Apple and is “investigating the technical challenges required to integrate iOS in the Car, but since a final decision had not been made, it was not a part of Apple’s announcement.”
