Samsung Galaxy S4 日前正式推出，並舉行了盛大的發布會。但整個發布會中並沒有提及 Android 平台，被指是 Samsung 有意不提，為未來推行自家 Tizen OS 手機而舖路。
在整個 Galaxy S4 發布會中，Samsung 完全沒有提及 Android 上的 Google Search、Google Maps、翻譯甚至乎 Google Play 等，只介紹自家的 Samsung Hub 及其新應用，如 Knox 安全功能及 Galaxy S Voice Drive 等，希望讓用家知道自家手機就像 Apple 一樣是一個品牌。Samsung 此舉除了不希望受到 Google 的限制外，亦希望要與別不同，也想淡化未來轉用 Tizen OS 手機舖路，將作業系統的重點轉移至其硬件上。
