華為在 CES 除發佈了以高容量電池和大「Mon」Android 機 － Ascend Mate 外，亦發佈了旗下首款防水防塵機 － Ascend D2，作為華為的旗艦機，它就用上 4 核處理器、5 吋 1080p 熒幕、1,300 萬像素鏡頭、32GB ROM 和 3000mAh 電池，預計將於本月於內地推出，另它可能會推出 4.7 吋熒幕版本。
這款 5 吋機種用上 1080p 解像度 IPS 熒幕，令熒幕像素密度達 443ppi (比 iPhone 的 Retina 熒幕更高，畫質細緻度比 iPhone 更好)，它使用時脈為 1.5GHz 的自家 4 核處理器，並用上 f/2.2 光圈的 1300 萬像素背照式鏡頭、130 萬像素前置鏡頭、32GB ROM 和 3000mAh 容量電池，機身已通過 IPX 5/4 的防水防塵要求，並用上 Android 4.1 系統。
