Nokia 年前放棄 Symbian 投向 Microsoft 懷抱，終於在 WP8 手機上有點起色。WP8 與 Windows RT 的應用相容，Nokia 會推出平板也是意料中事。有消息指 Nokia 平板將會與 Surface 平板相似，但功能更多。
據熟悉 Nokia 的人士透露，Nokia 平板將配備 10.1 吋屏幕，會有 HDMI 及 USB 接頭設計，但就加入網絡連線功能，即 3G 或 4G 設計，比起目前 Surface 平板只有 Wi-Fi 功能更方便連線。而鍵盤會內建額外電池提升續航力，即與 ASUS 的 Transformer Pad 相類似。運行 Windows RT 也意味著會使用 ARM 處理器，不過規格詳情沒有透露，但預計會於明年的 MWC 上展示。
