10 月底時已為大家報道過 Samsung 將會推出型號為 GT-N5100 的 Android 裝置，消息指會是 7 吋版本的 Galaxy Note。日前 GLBenchmark 測試網站已有此機的測試資料，硬件規格大致上與 Galaxy Note 2 相同。
根據 GLBenchmark 的系統資料顯示，GN-N5100 採用了 Android 4.1.2 系統，配備 Exynos 4412 1.6GHz 四核心處理器及 1280 x 800 屏幕，與現時的 Galaxy Note 2 相同。Galaxy Note 2 的型號為 GT-N7100，Galaxy Note 10.1 為 GT-N8000 及 GT-N8010，GT-N 代表了是 Galaxy Note 系列，預計 GT-N5100 的尺寸會介乎 7 吋至 9 吋之間，並會於 CES 上展示，而 7 吋的機會最高，與其他流行的 7 吋平板如 Nexus 7、Kindle Fire HD 等抗衡。
