早前澳洲警方告誡駕駛者不要使用Apple Maps，因為圖資錯誤，駕駛者以Apple Maps導航會去了45里以外的國家公園。不過，Apple已經火速修正有關問題。
出錯的地方Mildura，在Apple Maps中的圖示雖然還未完全修正，但搜索和導航時已經改正過來。有傳媒發現，今次出錯未必完全是Apple的問題，因為連澳洲官方的地名指南亦有同樣出錯；內裡出現了兩個Mildura，其中一個Mildura的座標正正是Apple Maps原本所指的國家公園所在地。
這次澳洲警方向外呼籲駕駛者停用Apple Maps，雖然令Apple尷尬，但他們迅速更正錯誤亦值得一讚。只是，不知澳洲當局會否同時修正一下官方的地名指南呢？
