Fujifilm 表示，新的光碟採用了 Two-Photon Absorption 技術，可以同時接收兩組不同波長的雷射光，再配合 20 層 25GB 的光碟設計，令容量達到 1TB 特大容量。目前利用 DVD 及 Blu-ray 光碟作儲存媒體已經式微，除了硬碟也達到 TB 級容量外，一般的光碟儲存技術已被視為不可靠，質素參差令資料隨時化為烏有，寫入儲存也十分需時，所以已很少用家使用。到底 1TB 光碟會有什麼用途？如果只是數十元有 1TB 容量，你又會否考慮呢？
