新一代 iPad 4 代剛公佈，比起第三代 iPad ，漂亮的 Retina 熒幕依舊不變，但升級使用 A6X 處理器，並支援 LTE 及改用新 Lightning 插口。新機公佈後，上一代 The New iPad (iPad 3) 已經在 Apple Store 上不無聲地下架，反為 iPad 2 繼續有售。可憐的 iPad 3 應該是史上最短命的 iPad 了！現在只可以在官網上買到翻新的 iPad 3 。以下有更多資料 :
