Microsoft 產品經理 Petr Bobek 在媒體訪問時，表示 Microsoft 將在下年 3 月推出 iOS 和 Android 原生的 Office。另根據 Microsoft 捷克分公司的新聞稿，Microsoft Office 將可在 Windows Phone、Windows RT、Mac OS、Android、iOS 和 Symbian 等系統使用，另外 Microsoft 將推出新的 Office Web App。
新聞稿中亦提到 Office 2013 將於今年 12 月提供給企業客戶，而消費者版本則將在下年 2 月底推出，Microsoft 在新聞稿中表示 Office 365 服務和其他的 Office 行動產品（手機和平板）將從 2013 年 3 月開始推出。但 Microsoft 美國的發言人則表示，Microsoft 尚未宣布新版 Office 的發售日期，另外表示 Mobile 版 Office 將可在 Windows Phone、Android 和 iOS 系統中使用。
