以為自己用 whatsapp 跟人談秘密很安全嗎？這樣想就大錯特錯了！因為 Whatsapp 傳送文字時其實沒有加密，只要可以取得數據就可以看到內容，外國有程式員寫了一款 Android 程式，可以輕易截取附近用家 Whatsapp 訊息！相當恐怖。
最近有一款名為《WhatsAppSniffer》的程式於 Google Play 上架，Root 了機的 Android 智能手機就可免費使用。只要跟其他 Whatsapp 用戶身處同一 Wi-Fi 網絡 (例如：沒有加密的 Cafe Wi-Fi、家中等)。程式可以使用截取封包功能，看到其他用戶的 Whatsapp 對話，甚至是傳送的相片都可以截取得到。
要防止自己訊息被截取訊息，只要在公眾地方使用 Whatsapp 時避免用沒加密的 Wi-Fi 甚至不要用 Wi-Fi 就可。

但大部份人用WHATSAPP 都用3G 嘛是不??

就算加密一樣 work
只要你都入到個加密 network e.g. 公司 wifi
