Microsoft 緊急叫停 Office for Mac 2011 SP2 軟體更新

上週，Microsoft 為 Mac 機開發的辦公室軟件 Office for Mac 2011 終於推出 Service Pack 2 更新檔，不過因為更新後可能會引發 Outlook 電郵客戶端數據庫方面的問題，Microsoft 近日緊急叫停發放該更新檔，並向用家致歉及提供解決方案。

對於尚未安裝更新檔的用家，Microsoft 建議先重建 Outlook 數據庫；而對於已安裝更新檔的用家，則建議通過現有備份將數據庫恢復到早前可正常使用的狀態。另外，Office for Mac 2011 的用家依然可以通過 Microsoft 網頁下載 SP2 更新檔，但安裝前切記先執行上述建議的解決方案。

On April 12th, we released SP2 for Office for Mac 2011. The majority of our customers have been delighted with the improvements – new features and performance. Unfortunately, a small percentage are experiencing some issues with the update, specifically related to the Outlook for Mac database.
