每天揭開報紙，都是鋪天蓋地智能手機的廣告，Android、BlackBerry OS7、iOS、Windows Phone 7.5，各大品牌都趁聖誕新年期間造勢，但似乎Samsung的「親生仔」Bada系統卻被忽略了。
Samsung早前就在Facebook上公佈，原定在2011年內推出的Bada 2.0，現在改為在2012年內推出。升級後，用戶將會有新的介面和更好的體驗，而且在程式多工處理和後台運作都會有重大改善。除此之外，Bada 2.0將支援HTML5和Flash。另外，買App的費用可加到流動電話費帳單中，由網絡商代收，雖然不知道香港會否實行。
此更新消息公佈自Samsung土耳其的Facebook專頁，詳細推出時間未有透露，但就包括多款曾在香港推出的Wave系列手機，例如Wave 723、Wave 575、Wave II等。

I live in Europe, and recently we receive very bad news, because they are talking about the delay of Bada 2.0 launching for upgrade Wave I and Wave II, until march-april 2012, when it had been expected at the end of this year. Samsung announced in their facebook page that, Bada 2.0 due to launch in 2011, now postponed to 2012. After the upgrade, users will have a new UI with better user experience, as well as major improvement on multi-tasking and background running. Bada 2.0 will support HTML5 and Flash. Thank you, Tommy Fung. Bad news are confirmed. We are waiting for the Bada 2.0 upgrade but is delayed again, and again. Lots of people, has changed, is changing or will change its Wave bored of this situation. When Bada 2.0 arrives Europe, there will no Samsung Wave or Wave II to upgrade.
