PlayStation Award 2011 《芒亨3》奪3獎成大贏家

一年一度的PlayStation Award早前於東京舉行，當晚頒發了不少獎項，而Monster Hunter 3rd連奪3個大獎，風頭一時無兩。PlayStation Award計算2010年11月1日至2011年10月31日期間發售的PlayStation遊戲。

年度銷量50萬套以上，100萬套以下獲頒金獎，而累計出貨量逾400萬，未到500萬的則獲鉑金獎；最受用戶歡迎的頭10名得用戶選擇獎，而票數最多頭三名更可獲國際遊戲獎，PlayStation Store下載量最高頭5名則獲PlayStation Store特別獎。

Capcom旗下的《Monster Hunter Portable 3rd》（PSP）取得鉑金獎，而PS3的《Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD》一舉拿下金獎和用戶選擇獎。其他金獎得獎遊戲包括PSP《Final Fantasy零式》、PS3的《Winning Eleven 2011》、《Gran Turismo 5》、《真.三國無雙6》和《Tales of Xillia》。

用戶選擇獎得獎名單包括：PSP《Monster Hunter Portable 3rd》、《英雄伝説　碧の軌跡》、《Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2》、《Gran Turismo 5》、《キャサリン凱薩琳》、《真.三國無雙6》、《メルルのアトリエ ～アーランドの錬金術士3》、《Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2》、《Tales of Xillia》和《Dark Souls》。

國際遊戲獎的得獎者為《Call of Duty: Black Ops》、《Little Big Planet 2》和《Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2》；而PlayStation Store特別獎則由《Dissidia duodecim prologus Final Fantasy》、《Crazy Taxi》、《エレメンタルモンスター – ONLINE CARD GAME》、《初音ミク-Project DIVA- ドリーミーシアター2nd》和《STREET FIGHTER III 3rd STRIKE ONLINE EDITION -Fight for the Future-》取得。
