I have read several news articles about this cancelation of unlimited data plan, I cannot understand why various reports are having the standpoint that since most ppl are using less than 2GB, so effectively less usage user is subsiding the heavy usage user!

First of all, where does this figure come from?? Mobile operators are certainly speaking for their greatest benefit, to minimize the investment while earning the maximum profit!
How is such statement and figure derived? By comparing all the unlimited data plan user or including users which dont use data so misleading ppl with statistics again??

Second, this is called market competition! With the development of mobile devices and better software, the demand of data is certainly directly increased as well. 2G is a lot?? Where does this standpoint come from as well? A pdf could now easily be 10mb, and as we paid the premium for so called ‘unlimited’ data plan, which means we have such need and entitle to heavy data usage.

Lastly, why no one come out to speak at the consumer point of view?? Mobile operators selling the unlimited data plan with more expensive price (wei, we did pay for it, we dont get it free), but operators failed to provide the service at a reasonable speed! They dont blame themselves for the lack of investment, but blame the user who paid unlimited data plan for heavy usage?! Can someone tell me what is the logic behind this? And if one company failed to offer such service, ppl would switch to another operator, this is what we called market competition. But now operators are trying to go together to stop it at the same time, why the Gov doesnt say anything? Think of the real impact, not just what u called limited frequncy range or company’s investment failed to catch up the increase, but the slow down of HK mobile technology development and the various new business model. These days ppl can buy and sell stocks easily everywhere, online shopping, news etc… Should someone say something about the problem of operator statment and speak for consumer benefit?

當年因為冇無限上,好多人因為手機軟件自動更新,用多左
上網費俾電信商屈機每kb計數,好多人張電訊月費單幾千蚊電話費
先開始有無限上既計劃,而家又打回原型…

以我自己而言,用video streaming,睇youtube,一個月最勁都係用到4GB,如果個plan限用5GB都冇問題。其實對大部份人嚟講,上吓網睇吓網頁收吓mail玩吓奶奶攞吓apps,無限數據對佢哋嚟講係冇乜意義,反而月費平啲,機價回贈多啲仲好。

我都覺一個月5GB plan係夠用嘅。我用緊數記嘅無限plan($238),但如果轉用平啲嘅$168 plan,卻只有400MB,根本就唔夠用,變相侷住用無限plan。所以要取消無限plan,電訊商要出返啲至少有幾GB嘅plan先得。

本身就係佢地屈人用無限Plan先, 而家又係到嘈住要取消無限Plan…

其實而家既人習慣左用手機上網,先會郁下就用幾GB流量一個月。
無錯手機係方面,但而家3G既速度真係好慢,有時用GPRS仲快過3G,好明顯就係而家既3G網絡根本負擔唔到咁多人既大流量,先會咁慢,而改返做無無限PLAN應該可以改善有關情況。
所以將來真係無無限PLAN的話,電訊商一定唔會出幾GB既PLAN出黎。
因為出左幾GB既PLAN出黎,佢都保証唔到速度,到時又係等住俾人屌。
所以睇黎都係要用家改變下自己既使用習慣,否則真係要預俾多D電話費了。

其實,重點係佢要出以「GB」計算的Plan,唔可能仲係出以「MB」計算的Plan…
老實講…我日日睇漫畫,用到極限暫時都係3GB,仲未突破到4GB,所以佢能夠提供5GB,極限Plan真係夠數…
我身邊有朋友係用3G,日日用來BT…都痴鬼線…無限制唔係咁用囉…

我從來唔用手機BT,但係一般睇下片更新下apps,一日閒閒地用幾十MB。我唔介意冇無限plan,但收得我二百幾一個月點都要俾返2至3GB我。

其實係攞3g黎bt唔合理之嘛,人地bt你電訊商實知嗰喎,有port number家嘛,你咪限佢速囉;而家有邊個無聊時唔上youtube睇片解悶,幾百M d plan真係ridiculous喎

其實最好應該係香港政府好似新加坡咁, 出”Wireless@HK”
所有香港居唔使錢全城用wifi
咁大部份人都可以用wifi 上啦…
好多online business可以發展

香港咁細, 推全城wifi, 全城Electric Vehicles 應該好易…
人地新加坡好快攪掂個Wireless@SG…..冇耐香港官商X結…..sighs…

it is the obligation for those network providers to improve/upgrade their hardwares to provide qualitative services. users should have unlimited usage on their “mobile devices” with the unlimited plan!!!!

i think what they really need to do is to find a way to block those BT users !!!

用腦都知係一種不負責任o既做法﹐而家無限plan d 數據速度已經係不知所謂﹐我敢講﹐就算冇無限plan﹐質數一樣會係咁衰﹐但係價錢係同現時差唔多!!!!

而家就賴有無限plan﹐比人濫用﹐所以做唔到乜野速度承諾﹐你老”李”﹐得果幾十k﹐慢到龜咁仲用黎bt? 就算有條友仔執身彩速度有過百k﹐用黎bt﹐如果佢間網絡公司唔block佢speed﹐我切!!! 經常block狗D客o既情況下﹐點可能overload。即管賴﹐到冇晒無限plan 果陣﹐班電訊商一q 樣會照賴落d “理論值” 度﹐到時d速度一樣係照舊咁q慢!! 仲話4G LTE﹐食banana吧

用字雖然粗俗,但係講出實況。從D電信商高層眼中根本就冇質素的概念,佢地只識諗點賺錢。

以數碼通的家居寬頻做例子,用的NETWORK同手機係一樣的,唔通又叫家居寬頻的客限住用咩?

如果家居寬頻唔使限住,咁做乜要限手機用戶呢~~~

想做我地生意果陣咩都可以俾你,唔想做果時就由你死~~~~

以現在通脹情況來看, 好多商店都以改plan方式去做變相加價.
所以肯定將來的幾GB plan一定相對地貴咗. 但服務質數無提升.

其實數記係唔想加大投資。其餘p記,3有己的network。基本上跟您家中netvigator, 和記無限上網一樣,要有基建。數記應該要租線,所成本定比其他對手高。流量小一定穩定,但又唔夠1010玩。所以有呢d理據。

別做沉默的羔羊,讓無良商人找藉口任意宰割!!!

不是用戶濫用,而是電信網絡商搶客戶濫拉客戶,灘薄容量,電信網絡商又不擴充提升設備造成的結果。就是1000MB十人共用,變成1000MB1500公用,流量能不慢嗎?就是限每人500MB用量10000人同時使用這網速能快嗎?就像新年倒數時代廣場一帶,新年一刻手機都打不出!
現在電信網絡公司聲稱21M/100M等3.75G/4G網絡,但是不是用56K的電話綫連接呢!消費者都不知道,他們連綫上網速度有時只有幾十KB時是否與電信網絡公司的系統有關?就像有些電信網絡公司在數據業務帶動下大幅增加利潤,同時並沒有大規模提升網絡設備及設施,而是公開的操縱輿論在電信網絡公司製造聯合的壟斷行爲。所以請消費者清醒,一至出來發聲表達意見。電信是公衆服務關符公衆利益,包括你!

我有以下意見給電信管理局和電信網絡公司及消費者委員會:

1. 消費者有權知道電信網絡商要公開公佈電信發射機(基)站2G/3G/4G各設施縂發射機數目及容量,發射機安裝位置坐標(偏差100米以內)或大廈名稱及地址,讓消費者有資料那一家網絡公司有最好的信號覆蓋自己的生活區上臺。要向電信管理局提交最新及准確的資料,包括電信發射機(基)站2G/3G/4G各設施縂發射機數目及容量,發射機安裝位置坐標(偏差100米以內)或大廈名稱及地址,入網縂人數及各分區用戶人數(以登記地址估算),以及各發射機組覆蓋及容納用戶人數。這些資料要在電信管理局及各自的電信網絡公司公佈,如電信網絡公司提供失實或虛假資料要罰款或終止牌照等重罰讓消費者可以查詢及瞭解電信網絡公司提供的網絡服務的質素和狀況,再決定選擇用那一家公司的服務。這是消費者應有的權益!!!

2. 公平使用和公平消費應該由電信網絡公司維護,以增加發射機數目及容量大,去保持質素。同時設立區域服務質素分級制,發射機數目多及容量大用戶小就是最好的A級;發射機數目小容量用戶小 B級;分4個級別,由電信管理局與業界共同制定級別準則。同時包括2G/3G/4G各種網絡的質素級別。3G/4G要制定在發射機1000米/2000米範圍內的最底的速率,不達標就必需增加設備擴容。
3. 在同一登記地址使用區域如果網絡質素級別低於簽約上臺時的水平連續30日,用戶可以選擇即時無條件終止合約。

4. 所有不提供無限上網服務的電信網絡公司,就不能銷售無綫固網寬頻服務或相內似的服務。這是電信網絡公司造成網絡質素下降,和違反所謂的公平使用原則!
5. 關於濫發郵件,短信及推廣電話,也應該做檢討,建議,在電信網絡公司新開或轉台用戶是登記選擇接受或部份内型接受,如不選擇或沒選擇都是預設不接受。現在要人主動專門去作出登記才拒接這是不合理,因大部份人不知道或怕麻煩,有些老人家也不會做。應該讓願意接收的自己做出登記,想接受那内型資訊,這樣也可便於商家造客戶。
6. 所有電信網絡公司及固網寬頻,家居電話等服務合約到期不能單方面自動續約,到期合約沒有得到雙方同意續約到期就自動終止。

以香港的人口比例電信網絡公司應該可以做的更好,專營權的發牌制度,電信管理局必做好監管。食物都有標簽,電信網絡公司都需要標簽。現在電信網絡公司有要求,用戶也有要求就一次過做好它!
