Apple CEO Tim Cook：「Apple失去了一個前瞻和富創意的天才，這世界亦失去了一個偉人。對於我們有幸與他共事和認識他的人來說，是失去了一個好朋友和好老師。Steve Jobs留下了一間只有他能創辦的公司，他的精神會是Apple永遠的基石。」
美國總統奧巴馬：「Steve是美國最偉大的創新者之一－勇敢不怕與人不同；大膽相信自己能改變世界；並有才能去實行。」
Microsoft董事長Bill Gates：「我跟Steve Jobs相識已有30年，當了半輩子的同事、競爭對手和朋友。世上很少會有人像Steve般對世界有這般大的影響，他的影響將延續世世代代。能與他共事實是無比的榮幸，我會非常懷念他。」
Google創始人之一Larry Page：「他是一位有着過人成就和傲人光芒的偉人。他總能用隻言片語說出你實際上應該想過出來的東西。他對於用家體驗的著重經常能啟發我。我成為Google CEO之後，他曾前來拜訪，分享他的建議和知識，即使他的身體不是十分好。我和Google，跟他的家庭和Apple大家庭都同感悲傷。」
Star Wars導演George Lucas：「Steve Jobs的魔法是當其他人只接受現狀時，他看見每件事的真正潛能，並永不妥協。他遺下了一個非凡的家庭，和一個歷久不衰的傳說。」
Facebook創辦人Mark Zuckerberg：「Steve，感謝你作為我的老師和朋友。感謝你顯示出你所作的能夠改變世界。我會懷念你。」
韓國Samsung發表悼念聲明：「Steve Jobs為資訊科技界引入無數的革命性改變，是一位偉大的企業家。他的創新精神和和卓越成就將永遠被世人懷念。」
