PlayStation Vita（PSV）早於今年1月已經公布，當時SCE除了公布PSV的部份情報用來對抗任天堂的3DS外（事實證明有效@@)，更公布了一個名為PlayStation Suite的計劃。這個計劃具體來說就是Sony想進軍手機遊戲界的野心，透過推出擁有PlayStation Certified認證的手機（平版電腦也在攻略範圍之內），之後再推出一些專為這些行動裝置而設的遊戲，從而讓Sony的遊戲市業慢慢滲透進行動裝置的領域。當然這個計劃成功的話Sony亦可以把PlayStation Certified認證賣給其他手機開發商大賺一筆，當然這是後話了。
一月過去了足足9個月，於今年的TGS上SCE終於都再次提出一些有關PlayStation Suite的情報。首先就是Sony將會於11月推出「PlayStation Suite SDK」的Beta版本，供已獲得認證的Android裝置下載，暫時支援的平台有PSV、Xperia Play、Tablet S和早前公布不少詳細資料的雙屏幕平版Tablet P。到底PlayStation Suite詳細有甚麼作用呢？於發布會上廠方就公布了一些影片來解釋，於這些影片中，我們可以見到同樣使用PlayStation Suite的Android裝置可以於某程度上共同進行相同的遊戲，或者是進行其他的連動。不過影片中只示範了PlayStation Vita和Xperia Play、還有就是PSV和Tablet S的連動，廠方沒有明言到底能否進行Xperia Play和Tablet S之間的連動。
而PlayStation Suite的另一個強大之處，就是SCE會為其提供大量優化操作的遊戲。現時SCE就公布將會於10月末透過PlayStation Store發布一系列初代的PlayStation經典遊戲（個人認為極大機會使用PSP版本的修改一下再推出）。這項服務最初會於日本、美國、加拿大、英國、法國、德國、意大利、西班牙和澳洲推出，而何時才輪到香港和台灣地區嘛，可能只有天知道⋯⋯
