Google在搜尋引擎市場的領先地位，暫時還沒有其他的搜尋引擎能夠挑戰，不過Bing的確在努力當中。最近，有調查指在美國，Bing的市場佔有率，從2009年的9.1%提升到2011年的27.1%。這變化是受惠於Bing推出的Powered by Bing服務，容許其他網站放進Bing的搜尋元素。這幾年Bing的功能有不少改善，加上和Facebook的連動，相信競爭力會逐漸加強，Google真的要小心了。
