iPad 2 有多神奇? 不，最神奇應該是香港人，創造了傳奇的一刻！根據 TNS 的一份全球平板電腦銷量的調查報告，他們訪問了 43 個國家共 34,000 人，發現 17% 香港人擁有平板電腦，即是每六個港人就有一個擁有，遠高於全球平均水平 6 倍( 3% ) 。中國僅佔 2.1% 而美國亦只有 5.3%，可見港人多麼熱愛新科技，以下有更詳細的資料。
在銷售數字上，去年香港賣出約 50 萬台平板電腦，每 1o 台就有 9 台是 Apple iPad，對於一個七百萬人的香港來說是相當驚人的數字，不過有幾多台是真正落入香港使用者手中，而不是炒賣到外地呢?這個不得而知了。早前有電器連鎖店因為涉嫌私下以高價賣出 iPad2 給先達抄賣而被補，也是世界窂見的新聞。
根據一份北京的調查顯示，Apple iPad 已經霸佔著國內的平板巿場，其他對手根本無力去追，因為 iPad 成為了國內富貴人家心目中的潮物或侈奢品，地位等同名牌手袋或珠寶，他們根本不在乎 iPad 效能如何，他們只知道，朋友擁有一台 iPad，我也要有一台。

但係即使話每6名港人就有1人擁有平板電腦，我對呢個數字都有懷疑…真係有咁高？定係計咗大陸人落去？

去年香港賣出約 50 萬台平板電腦，每 1o 台就有 9 台是 Apple iPad 即是有45萬台iPad，即是全都是港人自用，除以700萬香港人，也只有6.4%而已！每6個香港人就有1台iPad只是數字遊戲罷了。
