Apple有iCloud，Microsoft也有SkyDrive。兩個服務雖然不盡相同，但Microsoft也準備要把所有服務整合到一起，SkyDrive將會是核心的儲存方案。最近，Microsoft就對SkyDrive的網頁版本，進行了大型的更新，使用了HTML5重新編寫。
這個新版本的SkyDrive，在介面上有了大變化，除了變得更直覺化，方便使用之外，也有更快的反應速度，由原先六至九秒的圖片開啟時間，縮短至一百至三百毫秒。新版本更加入了H.264影片播放功能，和拖放文件上載功能。至此，SkyDrive推出四年後，終於有個趕得上潮流的介面了，有興趣的朋友可以留意一下。
