現時 Android 3D 遊戲可謂三分天下，分別是新力軍 Nvidia Tegra2 (DXT)、ATITC 及 PVRTC，上次我們網站提及 Samsung Galaxy S2 因為不支援這三個主流的材質壓縮技術，令很多大作都玩不到。如今在外國 xda 論壇中，有會員編寫了一個 OpenGL 的中介程式《Chainfire3D》，可讓三種壓縮技術之間即時作「傳譯」以打破彼此隔膜，成功讓 Galaxy S / SII 玩到 Tegra 2的遊戲，同時亦讓其他 Android 手機亦可玩到對家的專屬遊戲。
由於程式尚未成熟，暫時只支援部份遊戲，想安裝的朋友可以參考以下連結。由於需要 Root 機及下載相關的 Plugin，安裝者需要有一定經驗。
