現時市面上使用 7吋顯示屏幕大小的平板電腦並不算很多，一群支持者則在背後默默地等待廠商推出 7吋大小平板，其因為7吋大小方便攜帶。Acer Iconia Tab A100 及A101將是首部安裝了Android 3.0 Honeycomb 的7吋@1024×600 顯示屏幕平板電腦，備有Nvidia Tegra 2 雙核心處理器、512 RAM、8GB內部存儲、5百萬像鏡頭、2百萬像前置鏡頭、MicroSD卡插槽及Mini HDMI插槽。A100 與A101兩款分別在於WiFi及WiFi+ 3G 版本，現可在英國Amazon 訂購，將在 5月14日英國開售，售價分別是 £299(約港幣3,815)WiFi版 及 £399 (約港幣5,090)WiFi+ 3G 版，暫時沒有在港發售的資料。
