還記得 GF1 破解到 1080P 拍攝嗎? 還有 GH1 的高 bitrate 1080p + native 24p 的破解嗎? 令到一台數千元的機種拍出昂貴專業器材的級數，更有不少測試更說破解後的 GH1 拍片甚至比 Canon 5D MKII 好。這些「著數」將會延續到 GH2身上，破解小組宣佈 GH2 的 firmware 已經被 DUMP 出來，離破解之路已踏前一大步，相信不久的將來各位會看到 GH2 的破解檔。
