Xbox 360的遊戲光碟，現時使用雙層DVD，但其格式所限，最大容量也只到6.8GB，仍留有一點空間。最近，Microsoft發佈了新的測試版系統，當中有一項提到「更新Xbox 360光碟格式」，會否就是擴大其容量限制，讓遊戲光碟可以放下更多的內容呢？原來所有參加測試計劃的玩家們，也能免費獲得Halo: Reach一隻，可能正正就是使用新格式的光碟，作測試之用。不過就算格式更新了，作為玩家的我們也大概察覺不了有什麼分別。
