Apple最新的MacBook Pro上，搭載了 FaceTime HD 鏡頭，也就是能夠透過FaceTime，互相進行高清的視像通話。隨著這新MacBook Pro的推出，FaceTime亦脫離Beta階段，進入1.0版本。不過，為什麼原有的FaceTime Beta用家沒有更新軟件的選項呢？到AppStore上一看，噢原來不是免費的。
FaceTime 1.0在Mac AppStore上，現以0.99美元發售。雖然它不算貴，但不是免費總是讓人不快，尤其是我們有Skype等等其他免費的選擇。Apple表示，收取這象徵式費用是因為條款限制，是什麼條款則沒有透露。
