英國有些電訊商早前推出新計劃，讓用家以較低的價錢買iPad，配合相關的上網計劃。以英國為例，原先售UK$529的16GB iPad，申請月費UK$25計劃後只要UK$199。這種就是以補貼方式推廣iPad，可惜吸引力似乎不大。The Times報道指，Orange UK推出首一個星期，只賣出1000部。至於其餘T-Mobile和Three則未有公佈，莫非大家都希望等iPad 2推出？
