前幾天有人把 Android 2.2.1 加入 iphone2G / 3G 裡 <這裡>，但由於兩機的硬件規格低及欠缺優化，令到運行速度未如理想，但仍不失是個好開始。有心人把 OpeniBoot 繼續發揚光大到 iPad 及 iPhone4 身上，很快用家就可以自行簡單地安裝 Android 到 iPhone 4 及 iPad 上。OpeniBoot 其實是一個 Bootloader，容許於 Apple iOS 下 boot 起一些未簽署的程式碼(e.g Linux Kernel)去控制整個系統。Openiboot for iPhone4 及 iPad 的開發情況暢利，各位可以於相片及影片中看到:
