現時 Amazon 和 Sony 等使用 E-ink 的電子書均是黑白的，近日漢王科技董事長劉迎建接受搜狐 IT 專訪時透露，漢王 E-ink 彩色電子書將於今年 11 月發布，首發地點選擇在日本東京。彩色電子書價格大約比黑白屏電子書價格貴 30%，漢王將從明年開始小規模試銷彩色電子書。劉迎建還透露，低於人民幣 $1000 元的漢王電子書產品預計本月即將推出。
