當初 Sony 推出 NEX 3/5 曾介紹過會有 3D Panorama 拍攝功能，配合自家電視及 3D 眼鏡可做出 3D 影像，現在於最新的 Ver.02 firmware 終於支援了，除此之外更加善了電池流失的問題
是次更新要點
- 支援 3D Panoama
- 改善拍攝 Panorama 時的「搖」機性能
- 減失關機後電源流失的問題
- 改善在黑暗場合開機時的機身反應
