之前一直未經 Apple 成功批核的瀏覽器 Opera Mini iPhone 版本，在經過多月後終於正式通過審核。Opera Mini 之所以備受關注，因為其加速功能「Turbo」模式。開「Turbo」後，去任何網頁都會先經 Opera 伺服器壓縮 9 成，才會讓用戶載入網頁，令速度更快。Opera 指，就算用的是 2G Edge Network (Peoples) ，亦可以快速載入不同網頁。
如果用的是有流量限制的數據 Plan，亦可以借此節省數據費用。
