Google在昨天正式宣佈Android 2.0，正式推出的同時Motorola及Verizon亦宣佈首款採用Android 2.0的手機 – Droid，將會在11月6日開始正式發售，合約期為2年，售價為$199美元。
Droid的詳細規格早前已經流出，當中包括配備QWERTY側滑式鍵盤，3.7″ 16:9規格輕觸式屏幕(解像度480 x 854)，並且採用550MHz處理器及內置16GB記憶體，500萬像素鐘頭(備自動對焦及支援DVD視頻拍攝)，可支援多個程序同時應用(具備Google語音搜及多種服務支援)，網絡方面備有CDMA 1 x800/1900 EVDO rev.A網絡支援，Wi-Fi、藍牙2.1 + EDR。
