日前網絡上流傳著任天堂出全新手提主機的消息，不過由於規格並非將主機縮小，因此並未引起太多網友關注，沒想到原來真有其事，這款全新規格的主機名叫 – DSi LL。
任天堂的升級重點，並不在於縮減機身體積，而是將屏幕的體積從現有的3.25″提升至4.2″，新的屏幕雖然並未提升解像度，不過可視角度就得到提升，而且電池的容量亦同樣得到增加，因此使用時間可以提升至4-5小時，最低亮度的情況下更可以運作至13-17小時。DSi LL將會在11月21日開始在日本上巿，主機將會有三種色彩可供選擇，售價為20,000日元。
