自從 Panasonic 在去年年底推出首部採用 Micro 4/3 系統的單反相機 LUMIX G-1 後，不少 4/3 支持者均十分期待另一大廠 Olympus 推出旗下機款。在今日下午，Olympus 的 Micro 4/3 相機 PEN E-P1 終於推出，記者 Edward 自然即時到現場，為大家帶來直擊報導。
新機特別之處，在於機身只有一般 Prosumer 數碼相機般大小，但可更換鏡頭，令不喜經常帶備重甸甸單反相機旅行或外出遊玩的用家，有更輕便的選擇。當然，外貌亦玩「復古」，感覺與 1959 年 Olympus 推出菲林相機 PEN 系列時的設計頗為相似，加上銀、白兩種機身顏色選擇，令 Edward 我覺得此機十分雍容華貴。
當然，最吸引的自然是售價，機身連 ED 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 鏡頭套裝，也只是 $6,990；如果想玩人像拍攝，又可選擇機身連 ZUIKO DIGITAL 17mm F2.8 鏡頭套裝連 VF-1 光學取景器套裝，售價也不過是 $7,490，抵玩！
作為一部輕便可隨時攜帶隨時 Snapshot 的單反相機，Olympus PEN E-P1 確實令人眼前一亮。Edward 當然也在現場即時試玩了此機，稍後時份將會與大家分享使用感受，而且更拿來同樣採用 Micro 4/3 系統的主要競爭對手：Panasonic LUMIX GH-1，在機身體積及拍攝相片上來個對對碰。究竟是 Olympus E-P1 以小勝大，還是 Panasonic GH-1 一分錢一分貨？有興趣的用家便不要錯過了！

The Micro 4/3 system can’t categorizes as 單反相機 . It’s because the M 4/3 system have no mirror box in it’s camera.
It has it’s own class. The product is filling the gap between the DSLR & Point & Shoot
DC.
Hi, to some certain extent I agree to you, as Micro 4/3 system don’t have mirror box that’s why it’s not considered as 單鏡「反光」相機, maybe wordings misleading others and I will explain it in another article about E-P01.
But in fact, most people will consider camera which can change lens as 單反相機, that’s why we write in this way to let others (esp those who don’t have expert experience in photography) easier understand what’s going on.
To me, I also agree such Micro 4/3 system cameras are filling the gaps between DSLR and Prosumer DC, and two groups are the man target users:
1) Those who already have DSLR (Pro version, such as 5D Mark II, D700, A900, etc), and would like to have 2nd professional camera which is convenient to them for daily use for snapshots.
2) Those who used Prosumer DC or normal DC in the past, and would like to chase for somehow more professional photography experiences, but worry they don’t have ability in controlling normal DSLR well.
